The Liberal Party of Iran (LPI) stands for a secular, democratic, and free Iran, where individual liberties, human rights, and economic prosperity are protected. We uphold secularism to separate religion from the state, ensuring governance based on liberal democracy and constitutional rule. We champion human rights, gender equality, and LGBTQ+ rights, alongside free markets and decentralized government to promote economic growth and individual opportunity. We defend personal freedoms, including freedom of speech, surrogacy, euthanasia, and drug decriminalization, while advocating for quality public education and healthcare with a balance of public and private sectors. Our mission is to replace the Islamic Republic with a legitimate, democratic system chosen by the Iranian people, guaranteeing a future based on liberal values, political pluralism, and the rule of law.
Secularism and Laïcité
Religion and state must be completely separate. Laws should be based on reason and human rights, not religious beliefs.

Free Market Economy and Limited Government
A competitive economy with minimal government intervention fosters prosperity, innovation, and individual economic freedom.
Liberal Democracy and Constitutionalism
Iran must be governed through free elections, constitutional rule, and political pluralism, ensuring democracy without religious or authoritarian control. A future government must be based on the rule of law, with an elected Parliament as the highest authority and strong institutional checks and balances.
